A shadow puppetry adaptation of Justin Green’s semi-autobiographical comic book. The piece is an exploration in intersecting the experience of reading multiple comic book panels with live theater. The performance is one part of Myra’s BA project which investigates the use of paneling, negotiations between word and image in confessional comics – and how then we can articulate the role of confession in art from Foucauldian and Freudian discourses.
