• Awarded grant for Professional Advancement and Creative Research.
• Will be used to fund 1) attendance and participation in the FIMFA Festival in Lisbon, and 2) a Puppets in Prague Workshop intensive.

Midwest Nexus Touring Exchange Grant from Links Hall (Chicago IL), 2017
• $1500 grant to help fund a touring exchange between a Chicago-based artist and an out-of-town artist. The out-of-town artist will perform with the awarded Chicago-based artist for two nights at Links Hall, and the Chicago-based artist will in turn perform at a venue in the out-of-town artist’s city.
• Funds were used to bring my work to the Black Cherry Puppet Theater in Baltimore, MD (Dec 2017) as part of a Chi-More Puppet Exchange Cabaret.
• Funds were also used to bring Baltimore-based artist, Emily Schubert, to perform at the Links Hall Trade Routes Festival (Dec 2017).

• 2-week toy theater intensive led by Mirek Trejtnar where we made Czech-style marionettes and a toy theater stage, culminating in two public performances for local children.
